From the rigorous class rooms of NYU to recording studios of Hollywood, Eliseo has been cultivating his craft as a composer, producer, and multi instrumentalist. Writing and performing a wide variety of genres from Classical to Jazz, Funk, Latin, Hip-Hop and Soul, he continues to surprise and captivate audiences world wide.<\/p>\n
In college, Eliseo studied Jazz and Classical theory. Additionally, he was the <\/span>leader\/composer of <\/span>\u201cThe Dynamics\u201d, a seven piece Jazz, Funk, and Hip-Hop band. During this time, he won grants to study works by John Coltrane, Gil Evans, and Duke Ellington which were performed by the school\u2019s top Jazz Orchestra. <\/p>\n Once he graduated, he moved to Brooklyn, New York. Here he created \u201cGlenCheo\u201d another seven piece Funk, Hip-hop, Latin, Soul band that performed in venues throughout NYC including the Mercury Lounge, Bowery Electric, the Bitter End, etc. During his time in NYC, he also studied film scoring at NYU and worked as a freelance composer, arranger, and performer. <\/p>\n After a year of travel, performing, and composing, he settled in Los Angeles. Here he continued his career as film composer as well as producing music for commercials and recording session work on Saxophone.<\/p>\n Currently, Eliseo composes against the backdrop of <\/span>the U.P.’s serene beauty in Michigan. In 2024 he had his symphony %22Change of Season%22 premiered by the Northern Michgan University Sympohny Orchestra.
